Short Course: Basic Conversational Arabic
Objectives:
This course will help students to be able to read, write, speak and understand Arabic Language for their basic daily usage. Simple syntax will be applied and students will be doing few hands on activities to practice their Arabic language proficiency.

Objectives
This course will enable participants to converse using simple sentences in Mandarin.
1. Provide opportunities to communicate with friends of a different race
2. Understand and appreciate different cultures
3. Build cohesion among different races
Course Outline
At the end of the lessons, the participants should be able to use Mandarin to:
- Self-Introduction
- Introducing to Chinese Language
- Revision on Pronunciation and Phonetics
- Start simple basic conversation in daily life
- Sentence Structure - construct longer phrases to handle exchanges with sufficient ease
- Basic grammar for sentence construction to carry out short conversation
- Adjectives, including topics on nouns (gender and number) and descriptions
- Talking about your family, daily routine and hobbies
- Communication at work, home, social functions
- Asking for and giving directions or information in places such as: hotels, airport, town etc
- Learning new words and constructing simple sentences on Overseas Travel
- Everyday Situations/Dialogues
- Practical, Role Playing & Language Games
- More hands-on session on Chinese cultures
